Francesco Petruzzelli

He was born in Bari on 5 June 1986. He completed technical and economic studies, but writing and poetry are his true vocation. He publishes in numerous poetic anthologies, whose introductions are edited by famous artists such as Mogol, Alessandro Quasimodo (who recites the poem "Thank you" in a video posted on YouTube), Francesco Gazzè, Franco Arminio. He publishes in the anthology of the "Premio Dedicato a … Poems to remember - volume Andromeda» with the finalist poem “Graal” translated into Georgian by Nunu Geladze, the most important translator of Georgia, curator of all the work of Dato Magradze, former foreign minister, author of the national anthem and twice nominated for the Nobel Prize for Literature. He was a finalist with the poem "Vivi" at the "Literary Poetry Prize Fino in Fondo IV Edition" organized by Susan Komen Italia and the newspaper Libero pensiero news for the fight against cancer breast. He has received various mentions of merit, including at the «XXIV International Literary Award Trofeo Penna dAutore 2020», with the relative publication of his poem "Candele" in the volume «I maestro», published by ALI, the Literature Association Italian; to the «VI edition of the Salvatore Quasimodo Prize» with the publication of the poem "Profumo" in the homonymous anthology published by Aletti Editore; at the «International Prize for Poetry, Prose and Figurative Arts Il Convivio 2021» with the poem "In praise of solitude". He was classified as a finalist at both the «Il Federiciano 2019 Prize» and the «Il Tiburtino 2020 Prize», both organized by Giuseppe Aletti , with the poems "Ill be back" and "The Gorgon and Aphrodite", publishing them in the respective volumes that take their name from the awards, published by Aletti editore. He publishes seven poems in the anthology "Your words - volume 14", published by the house publisher Pagine, inside a box with a bottle, containing a small parchment on which one of his poems "The art of beauty" is written.
